Pastor Gorton was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He attended Pensacola Christian College and graduated with a BA degree in Bible. It was there that he met his wife Angie. Upon graduating in 1999 they took an Assistant Pastorate position in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. While in Lock Haven, the Lord blessed the Gortons with their first child, David. In August of 2005, the Lord led them to West Bend Wisconsin to take the Sr. Pastorate. The Lord has blessed them with their daughter, Abigail later that same year.
